The Sequoia Pin

$ 150

The Presidential Yacht

In 1933 President Herbert Hoover accepted the newly commissioned USS Sequoia as the presidential yacht. For over 40 years the Sequoia was the site of many historic meetings and social events with foreign dignitaries and U.S. Presidents. During World War II, President Franklin Roosevelt and General Dwight D. Eisenhower met secretly to plan the D Day Invasion of Europe aboard the Sequoia. President John F. Kennedy celebrated his last birthday aboard the Sequoia.

 We have designed a gold-plated Sterling Silver with blue crystals replica of that beautiful boat as a salute to the men and women who sailed and served so many U.S. Presidents.
