Shipping Policy

Customer Service:

For inquiries concerning repairs. returns or exchanges please contact Customer Service at customerservice@annhand.com or call 202-333-8862 between 10 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday (EST). 

Please allow 15-20 business days for your repairs to be completed. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays. Repair processing begins after your package is delivered to us.

All of our packages are shipped by way of FedEx, except for APO military shipments. We offer FedEx Ground Home Delivery, FedEx Ground, FedEx 2nd Day, FedEx First Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery and Standard Overnight. We do our best to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. Please note: once shipments are picked up by FedEx the package or packages are out of our control. We are not responsible for any loss, damage or shipping delays caused by FedEx.

Orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska must be sent via 2nd Day or Overnight Shipping. Please call to receive a quote for shipments to Hawaii or Alaska.

 FedEx can only ship to street mailing addresses (not PO Boxes or APO addresses). Please give us an accurate street address.

If you give us an incorrect zip code address you will be charged a FedEx re-delivery charge of $16. In addition, if your package is to be delivered to an office or apartment, you must enter the suite or apartment number. If this information is omitted your package will not be delivered and a charge of $14 will be added to your shipping charges by FedEx.

Neither Ann Hand or FedEx are responsible for stolen or damaged items if the customer requests that the packages be delivered without a signature. We are not be liable for any delays, loss or damage in transit. 

FedEx recommends a signature for all packages.  Otherwise, FedEx will not be held accountable for theft.  FedEx charges an additional $5.00 for a signature. This is in addition to any gift wrapping charge.

 International Orders (other than APO)  are not accepted online. Please call us at 202-333-2979 if you wish to place an  international order. For all International orders we will give you a customized shipping quote but it will not include charges for Duty, Vat or any other taxes.


APO, FPO, and AE orders are shipped via the US Postal Office and take additional handling and shipping time.  We regret we cannot ship 2nd Day or Next Day.  If you have any questions, please email us at: info@annhand.com.

Whenever possible, orders received by 1 pm on a week day will be shipped by the day.

Shipping times exclude holidays and weekends. Weekend orders will normally be processed the following Monday or the next business day, which ever comes first. Please remember, FedEx delivery times refer to business days. Keep this in mind when requesting 2nd Day, 3rd Day or Next Day delivery. Please refer to FedEx at www.FedEx.com or 800-463-3339 for package tracking, shipping times and policies.

DC Taxes

 Items shipped to a Washington,DC address are subject to a 6% DC tax.  Items shipped outside of the District of Columbia will not be taxed.


Return Policy:

Our customers are very important to us and we strive to provide excellent service. Please call us at 202-333-2979 for a return authorization before you return your order. 

Refunds and exchanges are allowed within 30 days, when accompanied by a valid receipt..

Sorry, we do not accept returns of custom orders, political pins, engraved items, or merchandise altered in any way. All returned Items must be received in original packaging. Returns are not allowed if tags have been removed from the jewelry.

 Gift Wrapping:

For jewelry purchases of $150 or more our Deluxe Gold Gift Wrap is Complimentary. Please allow an additional day for gift wrapping. This is Ann's gift to you. For our custom Gold Wrap on items under $150 please add $10.00 for our deluxe gold gift wrap.

Exchanges: If you are returning a product you received as a gift, you may exchange it for an item of equal value or a store credit of equal value.
